Here are our learning topics for the week:

Morning Meeting:
Continue to use the Morning Meeting as a learning activity to get your child ready for learning. Join Laura and Ruth for a class Zoom call on Monday 22nd June. Details were sent to you via email. 

Seesaw:
As this is the final week of learning, please have activities uploaded to Seesaw by 10am on Friday 26th June so that we will be able to post them to your child's journal by 2.05pm that day.

Maths - Continue with your shop:
Last week and this week the children will be learning about money. One of the best ways to teach your child about money is through play.  On Friday, you will be asked to create a shop at home. You can use play food if you have it or empty items from the kitchen. You and your child could even draw items for the shop. Price the items from 1cent to 5cent. You will need lots of 1cent, 2cent and 5cent coins.

*We are learning about dance this week for PE. For this, you are asked to play music. You might like to take some time in advance to choose suitable tracks. The children in both Junior Infant classes often have a ‘boogie’ in the classroom so you could ask the child to suggest a track or you could choose one. Happy Dancing!
